Yeah, which is exactly why "intraspecies" is such a strawman.

All vertabrates have so much in common that they could all be half of another vertabrate. Entire classes and families could be seen as the intraspecies evidence that is demanded.

Or not. I can't honestly admit to understanding the demand, which is why I asked Calvin to explain it a little more.
