My main bar "File" option looks like this. Are you fairly sure the "HOT KEY" is not conflicting with a sub menu assignment.

What I noticed is that I did not have to inlude the backslash - greaterthan in front of the F to get the Underline!

>I'm able to get menu hot keys to work on the sub-menus, but can't get them to work on the main menu bar. I've even tried going into the "Prompt Options" to assign a shortcut key there, but that doesn't work either. The menu is on a "background" top-level form, and we're not using the VFP screen. Is there something missing?
