In the KeyPress method of the combo

If the mouse cursor is sitting on the second line, in this case Bob, then whatever item on the second line (Bob) is highlighted while the textbox part shows Evan if I press the letter E. Is there a SIMPLE way to hide the mouse cursor during the selection by the keyboard?
