I knew we would (eventually) get it [back] together when I heard Dale Earnhart Jr. plug Farenheit 911 (that Moore movie) on national TV! I quit watching NASCAR when bill and dan elliot parted company (both times). I had flicked to the NASCAR channel and a commentator was out surveying the crews at the start of a practice day. The TV guy asked Dale Jr. what he did the previous night to celebrate the teams qualifying position. Dale said, "I thanked my crew by taking to dinner then to see Micheal Moore's Farenheit 911. I reccomend that every American go see that movie."
Even though our town (Houston!) is cosmopolitian, we are surrounded by the B-Belt. It was good to hear a B-Belter speak as freely as Dale Jr did on that day.
