I don't remember what alliteration means - I was shopping for a term (maybe "alludes to" or "references") that expressed the connection of "Big Brother", the phrase, to Orwell's 1984. I thought the term was alliteration. I don't usually dictionary when I rant:)

Help me out if you can.
