With VFP8 Microsoft decided to follow the ANSI standard for SQL more closely, which ment that they had to change the syntax so that some syntax which in earlier versions should not work, but which worked anyway, often with wrong results, does not work with VFP8. Read about

SET ENGINEBEHAVIOR. I strongly suggest that you change your select statements to comply with the correct VFP8 syntax.
