>>Your plan sounds okay and I expect performance to be the same. I think that steps 1 and 2 may eventually be skipped until the main exe really needs an update. Good luck!

So, I did a test to insert my sub class into the main EXE just to see if all was ok (assuming a potential corruption). It went ok. So, my sub class is not corrupted and valid. Then, I remembered the problem I had last night with the long class name which was resolved by shortening it a little bit. So, I released the main class in my sub EXE and SET CLASSLIB again with an alias FTListe. That didn't change anything. It is true the file on disk is still having a long name. That could be the problem. The name of the main class is FournierTransformationListe.vcx which is quite long. Before proceeding with a short disk file name, because of the impact this could cause, I would like to know if anybody else could have any other suggestion.
How could a short filename have impact?
