Well Terry, I have contacted the many people I know currently in Iraq and those that just returned and none of them are using Iraqis as human shields. That is utter NONSENSE. If that were true, that is against the Geneva conventions and should be investigated and punished.

As for Arab news, I watch it also. I am afraid that it is tilted in the exact opposite direction as our news and both are sadly wrong too much of the time. They take news footage and photos and attach different situations to them and meanings to give the impression they want to portray rather than the truth.

I think you should join the military and go to Iraq Terry to see for yourself. I have served many years myself in the military. It would be good for you to get a new perspective and perhaps a more realistic one at that. Or maybe you would be better over there supporting the insurgents instead? I think our military would be.
