I thought it should work that way; however, ours is not.

We have 8 items on our menu bar:

When we press Alt+A, we can't get the Appointments sub-menu to drop down, (we have to mouse-click it). After the sub-menu is displayed, we can use a keypress to select one of the options. We do have the hot key "A" used in several of the sub-menus. It has got to be a top-level form property that is causing the problem, but we just haven't got it figured out yet.
