It's a bit early to answer all your quetions ( 2 weeks at it,part time). Also I have not yet purchased the full copy. Probably waiting for answers to your questions too!

1. Do you have to use builders, or can you just take what you want of their code?

you can use all of their classes, libraries etc.

2. Is the framework stable? e.g. If you set a property type wrong in a form saved as class, does it crash Foxpro or give you an error message?

So far, I think so

3. Does it load an array of controls including whether they should be enabled in Editmode, Addmode, No Records Mode, and some sort of Programmatically Disabled Mode?

Sounds like I could learn a lot from the background of the question. Could you elaborate?

4. Does it mind Stonefield Database Tools?

They say so.

5. What sorts of controls come with it?

Pretty well explained on the Website

6. Is it hard to make your own controls compatible with its architecture?

This seems easy to do. My main concern is that ,with my general inexperience in all matters related to software, I may not redo my controls to take advantage of MaxFrame architecture.

Response a bit sparse at this stage, but expect to know more soon.
