Support: When I first started using Pepperwhite, I had several questions which were answered via phone. I too have had problems getting someone on the phone. Their help file is very straight forward and thorough.

Maps: The maps are based on the Census Brueau Tiger Maps and are as current as the latest update from the Census Brueau. I have a client for whom we import their ESRI centerline data into Pepperwhite in order to display their current map.

The ESRI SDK is way more $$$$$ than our budget, so Pepperwhite got the nod!
