I have a form that plugs VFP data into a PDF form via the FDF technology. It allows the user to select a client from a list and then view a PDF document with that person’s data filled in. I was using Adobe Acrobat 5.0 and the FdfAcx.dll and FdfTk.dll. I implemented this based chapter 8 of the Hentzenwerke MegaFox book.

Well I just upgraded Adobe Acrobat on my development computer from 5.0 to Adobe Acrobat Standard 6.0.2 and much of my FDF Toolkit stuff doesn’t seem to work now.

For example:

1) Instead of displaying my beautiful PDF document all filled in, now I get the message: “This application has failed to start because AGM.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem”.

2) When I load one of my FDF forms in Acrobat I no longer see the “Form Field” button. Maybe that is the wrong name, but it was the button that displayed all the fields in acrobat and allowed me to edit and create fields.

Is there a documented path I could follow to upgrade my development system?
