>I'm probly missing something, but what about when you do a scatter memvar, and then a gather memvar? Instead of REPLACE? You need to have the m. notation for that, no? And as I recall, it's faster to gather than a bunch of replaces?
Matthew,
When you do a SCATTER MEMO MEMVAR, it automatically (or as my late friend Ed Rauh who say, automagically< s >) creates memory variable (preceded by "m.") you need. My using Hungarian notation with my variables, and not using it with fields, there's no conflict when you do a GATHER MEMO MEMVAR.
