Everything looks okay. I suspended the data session and noticed that the primary key was being updated on the id table but the view for the child was not recording the primary id. The parent view was working okay. What are some things that would prevent the child view from recording the new primary key? The child object is used to select an item from a row source for a combobox. In this case I am trying to add a new record to the combobox row source which is a view. This view is the only data access object for the child biz object.
