The simple xmltocursor errors out with a parse error even if I split up the file because the format is inconsistant. So as much as I don't want to it looks like I will have to use DOM unless I can figure out this schema thing. I'm currently using VFP 7.0 (anxiously waiting for release 9) so the xmladaptor is not an option yet.

Don,
Before trying my chance on anything else do you have a nearby friend who would write some simple .NET code for you? If so as I see it's a web service response and easy to parse into VFP tables. If no one than give me the URL with a sample call (I mean parameters you send). I might try to create a COM for you that does the parsing into tables (or multiple text files, xml files fro you to create cursors from). Not a promise but might do.
PS: I'll now check for a few more mins the xml if there is an easy way in VFP.
