Do you really think anyone at MS is losing any sleep or feeling pressured because I was looking for any info on a release date and any info about why Ken hadn't posted a November letter? I don't remember posting anything at all in the lead-up to VFP 8 and I can tell you that the product released with a new and - IMHO - serious bug that is causing me some problems. Plus, there is a long-standing bug with grids that is still not solved. Plus, the View Designer, though much, much improved, still generates incorrect and corrupted views at times. So it must have been someone else who asked a question and caused all of these problems. Let's find him and beat the snot out of him! I agree with you - I hope they do take the time to squash new and old bugs - it's just that this time I'm dealing with some issues related to moving people from VFP 7 to 8 and I'm just anxious to get past them. If I'm impatient, then I apologize.

>Well said, Kevin! I think that putting pressure on the VFPT only will have negative effects. They need and deserve to be left alone to finish the work without any pressure for us users. I will rather wait a week or two extra for an (almost) bugfree product, than have a product with serious bugs which normally would have been detected and fixed.
