Hi Tek Hong,

As Christoph said, this is not correct.

Editing reports is quire easy, just isn't done the way you are used to doing it in Foxfire. I think what you are looking is something with the power of VREP, which interfaces with the ProMatrix Data dictionary and the UI of Foxfire. Sorry, but that doesn't exist anywhere.

VREP is the answer to most of your wish list, and Doron wants to find a way to make it work for your installed base.

Currently to Edit a report, the user needs to pass through a setup form. While this is very useful for a developer, I believe your concern is for end users who might not know what the options on the setup form are for, don't need to see them, just wanting to get to the report for some simple editing. I have discussed this with Doron for you, and he can add option to go directly to the Report for editing. He hasn’t had this request from anyone else, but is still willing to do it for you, if and when you become a VREP licensee.

I understand that other users are doing cross-tab reports, and Doron will get you a procedure for doing it.

If you will contact me privately, I can set up a conference call with Doron so that we can find solutions. As Jason and Christoph mentioned, Doron provides terrific support, and I am sure he can and will help you overcome the transition issues you have.
