I didn't start this thread and, as far as I can see, with the misleading title, it's gone on far enough. I wish I knew how to change a thread title. I guess everyone's chary of getting off this thread as it has yielded some interesting spin-offs. It's kept alive by (now) spurious side messages ... well like this and what spawned it.
