We are installing Visual Studio .NET on a Windows 2000 Terminal Server in order to allow multiple developers to work on the same ASP.NET project using VB.NET.
These developers (2 for now) will connect via terminal server to work on the server but will also be doing some offsite development.
The licence agreement (EULA.TXT) seems to indicate that the software can be used by only one user and does not seem to specify that it should be only on one machine. I would tend to derive from that text that I can have VS.NET on my local machine and use the same license on the server. (Thereby avoiding having to purchase two licenses just for my development.
How the the multi-user aspect work on the server and vis-a-vis the licensing, how is VS.NET installed in order to license both users?
If we purchase one license of VS.NET per developer, can all these licenses be installed on the server and one each on the developer's machine?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
