>A project file I was working on just died. About half of the file is "missing". When I open the project, VFP prompts me with: "Unable to find Visual Class Library E:\CDBK30\COMMON30\UTILS\", plus a bunch of other messages that are very similar. I could point VFP back to the original files, if I knew WHICH files it wanted. In all of the errors, the actual name of the class library/files that are "missing" aren't in the prompt; so I don't know which file to select.

This does not help much, but I experienced that quite often and I finally bought Win 95 Plus. They have a scheduler and I used it to zip up my applications (including projects) at night. This scheduler ran 5 different routines (Mon - Fri) to pkzip my code up, and when I recieved that great message about my project I just restored from the previous night and continued on. This has saved me many a headache as well as the other programmers in my group. I know this does not help you much but it may help you in the future.
