I view the contents of a sql-server database from within a VFP container with remote views. I want to create some local views where I create joins between some of these table. Sounds simple. In some cases however the data in SQL-server is unicode so the remote view is showing it as two characters.
The other table where I want to join to does not do this so I can't match them. Any suggestions on how I can avoid this unicode behavior.
