I was pointing out and discussing problems. You see it as whining because you want to belittle someone in order to make yourself feel important. It's nice that you participate in betas, but that's not for everyone and just because someone doesn't do it is no reason for you to invalidate their concerns. I have discussed these bugs with an number of people, some of whom have run into the same bug, and no one has called me a whiner. That is a highly insulting term and you're wrong to use it. When my daughter whines about something, it carries little, if any weight, with me. I am the adult and am in an authoritative and superior position to my child. When you accuse someone of whining, you strongly imply that you are the one in the authoritative, superior position and that the "whiner's" opinions are to be given no weight. You continued with the superior attitude by mentioning all the places that info about VFP 9 had been published, as if I didn't already know that. But I'd like you to show me where any of these articles deal with specific bug fixes. They may exist, but they're doubtless few and far between.

I dealt you no insults at all in this thread - and, in fact, thought you were responding appropriately - until you took your insulting and arrogant tone. If you insult someone, then expect for that person to give you a piece of their mind. As for your comments (in another response) about me "name calling", you should note that you were the one that started it. And if you don't give me any help, I'll be none the worse for it, since it seems to come with a condescending attitude.

>Go back and look at your post. You were complaining about no letter from Ken. You griped about lack of bug lists and what's been fixed lists. You complained about a "bug" that has been in several versions of VFP. I can't say if the "bug" is real or not or has been fixed or not, as you have refused my offer for help. You complained that there has been no discussion about what bugs have been fixed in beta versions after the public beta. Add it all up and it's whining.

>As for bugs that have affected me, I've taken a proactive approach by particpating in betas so that I can see what's been fixed and offer additional input on other bugs. I gave you a link so that you can maybe participate in the next beta. Contrast these bug reporting methodologies: 1) stating on the UT, "I have a bug" and hope someone on the Fox team sees it. 3) sending an email to some anonymous address in the hopes it gets to the proper people and then get no response back. 3) Posting a bug in a secure forum that the VFP team then gives you a tracking number for.
