>>>Another answer is creation: God did it.
>>>
>>>Obviouslly, I see a strength in the evolution answer in that it gives us some details as opposed to just pushing it off into the hands of a supernatural being.
>>
>>While I personally believe in God, I think that just saying "God did it" still leaves the question unanswered: "What was the method He used?" I think that evolution played an important part in the answer.
>>
>>In other words, the fact that a person believes in God doesn't necessarily mean he has to reject most of modern science.

>I agree that there is SOME evolution, but the facts don't bear out the evolutionists arguments as has been discussed here ad nauseum. However, how can we possibly understand how God created the universe? I would not have much faith in a god I could understand.

John;

On another topic of religion:

I have a copy of the Catholic Bible. In the back are a number of definitions among them is an explanation of "The Blessed Trinity". This is a large book and the explanation of the trinity took up more than one page of complexity and in small print! Then as if from out of nowhere the author broke off any attempt at explaining the Trinity any further. He ended with this statement, “Never the less, it is impossible for created intelligence to understand The Blessed Trinity”!

My question to myself was, “Why did the author attempt to explain that which is not explainable”? Had he simply used his last sentence no further words would have been needed. I felt as if I had walked off a cliff! Well – sort of! :)
