I am about to upgrade an installation of Visual Accountmate, a VFP based accounting system. I am hoping the system will run on my client's current OS infrastructure. They want to upgrade the Accountmate system first, and then upgrade their hardware next year. As per the Systems requirements documents from accountmate, their new version is not 'technically supported' on Windows NT and on win98. But I am hoping I can get the system to run anyway, until they upgrade their hardware and OS's

Client's Infrastructure:
server is NT 4.0, workstations are win98, database is sql server 7
accountmate components installed on both workstations and server

Existing Accountmate:
compiled in vfp 6 sp#?

New accountmate
compiled in vfp 8 sp1

I don't have NT servers or win98 workstations in my office to test this on. So, I am wondering if anyone is successfully running vfp 8 sp1 apps on win nt server and win98?

Does Microsoft officially support vfp 8 on win nt or win98, and, even if they don't does it run anyway?
