Actually, the VB6 application has been working for quite some time using VFP6 and was recently converted to VFP8 with no problems whatsoever. I mentioned that I am using a DSN-LESS connection. Apparently, the connection is OK since I changed absolutely nothing when I moved to VFP8 and the application still works correctly.

As far as FoxAudit working with VB6...my real question is: can I call the FoxAudit class/method code from within VB6? I already know the VFP side of things will work ok. It's the interface between VB6 and FoxAudit that is my main concern. I'm trying to get the answer before I go about setting this all up because if it doesn't work then I will need a different solution (we have 5 other applications that are all written in VFP, so we know that FoxAudit will work for those...bottom line is we need one product to solve all six auditing problems).

>>Yes, I purchased a copy of FoxAudit a few months back. I've e-mailed Jim Duffy directly several times. I don't understand it...Jim can be a little slow to respond when he's teaching, etc. I'm not sure what else I can do to get my question answered, can you?

>I notice you're talking about DSNs, which implies you're using ODBC. IIRC ODBC support for VFP stops at the VFP6 level. I think for any chance for a VB app to work with VFP8 DBCs you'd have to connect to the VFP DBC with the VFP8 OLEDB provider instead. So the question becomes, is FoxAudit fully supported by the OLEDB provider? I don't know that answer.
