I see You use VFP 8. IMO it is easy if You create an CursorAdapter based on ADODB, then You can use it as an ordinary VFP Table (INDEX, SEEK ... ). About the second question if You create an CA there is no need to execute statements second time Just Use CursorRefresh() method of the CA.
