Yes, I do wish there was a setup under 'Tools', 'Options' to allow you to check off if you want VFP to open the code window to the last object you were viewing or editing when you closed it before. It would save time and be a nice thing to have. The thing with the CTRL+W is that if you open an object and only view it and then close it with CTRL+W the file gets a new datetime stamp.
