I forget, but I think the message pops when reading the address book. I would have suggested, if you can get a representation of the data you might be able to use SMTP (providing you're not sending an Outlook appointment or calendar object.

I did some stuff with CDO (create and send outlook appointments) in the summer and did not have that issue, i think, because the app was logged to Exchange Server, and not outlook.
