thank you for reply,
i get error message(file access is denied e:\bills1\bills1\xldata.dbf.
but when i take alock at the tables i found xldata.table with data.

when i run the code agian i get error message "ole id is patch exception code 0 form microsoft excel.cannot access xldata.dbf".



if xldata.dbf have 6 fields and nan.dbf have 7 field, field 7 have a numbers ,i want to (first delete next 6 records)) and after the delete ,replace new all data from xldata.dbf to old data nan.dbf ), but keep field 7 as it is.
