Joseph, you can tell VFP where to put your temporary files by setting the CONFIG.FPW: See TMPFILES, EDITWORK, SORTWORK and PROGWORK in the Help.

>Will WIndows know where to build the swap files? In other words, if you have a drive C: with your system temp directory, etc. with about 1 Gb free and you have this new drive with 2 Gb free, will Windows use the C:, the D:, or both?
