Okay, I'm not into this thread wholeheartedly, but have been enjoying scanning your posts. Just a comment. I wouldn't be so quick to aver that humans _aren't_ intrinsically moral to one degree or another. And, I would assert that the playground cruelity, and how it's dealt with in the group/community/society is how we develop it. Just as we develop empathy by our early relationships.

I'd suggest those who haven't explored it, and are *ahem* wildly shooting their guns into the air might be well-served by reading literature about game theory and early childhood development.

Not that I really think they will.

Okay, now. I've simply _got_ to get a start on that pie!
