>Funny you should quote Jesus!<vbg>
Jesus was a philosipher and activist for Christians, Muslims and Evangelicals.
I don't pay attention to the devine providence, son of god, stuff - I am not asking for votes or passing the offering plate around! We are all children of god! Don't confuse the god I mention with the fire and brime stone guy with the white beard that runs the bright light "Wal Mart" in the sky!
But law is common sense - the sleepers may need the story of a mountian and a devine inscription on stone - but we have evolved, over billions of years, into a social creature. Apes do just fine without written laws. We are great apes that have written language and it is helpful to understand the importance of "natural" and "common sense" laws.
It makes me wonder: They say "prostitution" is the oldest profession. I would argue that "preachers" might be the oldest. One sells earthly pleasure the other sells pleasure in the after life!
Imagination is more important than knowledge
