Ravi,
I already told you to use the way you ask. Do not create a general field. Directly use (FileName) as expression - FileName was your field's name holding the path as I remember.
PS: Maybe it's not clear. I mean "Filename:" when you dblclick the olebound control and type:(FileName)
there.
