>I was also speaking of the design of the solar system, the earth's rotation, distance from the sun, etc. This is more precise than a Rolex.
So the numbers were set right in our case. Given the number of such cases (number of solar systems in the universe, times its age), there was a chance that in some (one?) of them life would be produced. To me, our existence is proof enough for that.
>Yeah, life continues, to a point, all the while dying and regenerating. The point is that whatever lives, starts dying at inception.
I mean life as a phenomenon. A single being, yes, it bears the seeds of its death by simply being alive. Life as a phenomenon, however, goes on.
>Things get better, then worse. A house left unattended will be reclaimed by the earth if left alone. Things left alone don't get better, they get worse.
So we're alone, therefore doomed? Or, if we haven't perished yet, it is a proof of someone tending our house? C'mon, be more specific.
