Oh, I actually *do* like fog, but not when it's continuous and unending. I'd just like a little bit of sun thrown in there periodically too. We literally go for weeks without even a hint of sunshine. And usually there's very little in the way of precipitation (this is, after all, high desert over here). At least some rain or snow would make it interesting ... but weeks upon weeks of nothing but clouds and fog is depressing.

I see that Cetin had a good suggestion with filling your dropdown from a DataReader (using Items.Add) instead of databinding it. Don't know why I didn't think of that as a suggestion, but it sounds like it might do the trick for you.
