Yet our (my) MIS dept. is only at about 20 people. Being that this is a sales oriented company and not technical oriented, I'm not sure if that's a good or bad percentage. MIS budgets of public companies (they publish financials) are around 1%-3% of sales. Usually if the budget is below 1.25% of sales, it is said that the MIS is underbudget.
