>I am not familiar with your faith, but your comments make me curious. If you consider the Bible to be Holy Scripture and Christ sent by God, yet do not consider yourself a Christian, then what is your understanding of Acts 4:12? It states (referring to Jesus), "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved."
One of our main beliefs is that, from time to time, God sends Messengers to guide mankind. These messengers include Jesus Christ, Abraham, Moses, Buddha, and others; and in more recent times (after Christ), Muhammad, the Báb, and Bahá'u'lláh. (The latter two are considered the founders of the Bahá'í Faith.)
In the time of Jesus Christ, all mankind was supposed to turn to Him. Perhaps this is what the verse you mention refers to. I do NOT think that this means that all prophets that came before Jesus Christ were fake (for instance, Moses), or that their laws were invalid at their time.
Nor do I think that this means that God will send no prophets after Jesus Christ. In fact, Jesus speaks repeatedly about His return.
Difference in opinions hath cost many millions of lives: for instance, whether flesh be bread, or bread be flesh; whether whistling be a vice or a virtue; whether it be better to kiss a post, or throw it into the fire... (from Gulliver's Travels)
