Hi Nancy,

Have you configured Firefox for javascripts? You might take a look under [Edit-->Preferences-->Web Features] of Firefox main menu. Make sure [Enable Javascripts] is checked. Also, their are many options under the [Advanced] button to allow javascripts to:

Move or resize existing windows
Raise of Lower Windows
Disable or Replace Context Window
etc
etc
