Well, for purposes of debugging, yes. I agree. It would be rather hard I think for MS to accomodate what I was looking for. They don't even have to be the evil empire. :-)

No, ASP.NET doesn't lock me into IE. (And, SQL Server shouldn't either, even though in this case the backend if FoxPro.) However, I think I've found a clue, and I replied in more detail to Bob, in case you're interested.
