I took my 15 year old son to New Orleans last week to watch the Broncos spank the Ain'ts! I think we'll watch those same Broncos spank the Raidahs tonight!<vbg> I recommend this game for anyone who ISN'T a raidahs fan.

What's amazing is that the Chargers and the Broncos made the Saints and Aaron Brooks look VERY bad...and yet my beloved Chiefs made the Saints look like contenders. But then again, this year's edition of KC has a habit of that.

I'm looking forward to tonight's game...especially since there's a chance of snow in Denver tonight. Always fun watching those types of games.

And don't look now, but the Carolina Panthers are sneaking up on people. If the Rams lose tomorrow night, Carolina would be just 1 game back for the last wild card spot. Anybody remember the last time a 4-7 team qualified???...why, Carolina's 1995 expansion partner, the Jax Jaguars. They started 4-7 in '96, won 5 straight to qualify for the last WC, and made it all the way to the AFC title game. (How do I know this????...because Jax beat KC on a wild card tie-breaker for the last spot!)

It's likely that the lowest qualifying NFC team might have as many as 3 more losses than the highest non-qualifying AFC team.
