I did buy the book you mentioned but can not find the answer I am looking for. The problem I have got is, I am creating an excel file from a database, there are three fields in database and around 250 records. the fields are date D(8),rainfall
N(10),irrigation N(10). When I create the excel file the date column does not show the full width so the data in the date field are "Hashes". If I open up the excel file and widen the date column, everthing looks sweet. Is there a way to open an existing excel file from the form, and adjust the date column size and shut the excel file ??? I know how to widen the date column (thanks to Hilmar Zonneceld)
eg. oSheet.columns("A:A").columnWidth = 10. ope you can help. Thanks. Shafid
