Thanks for the reply but I tried that exactly and it doesn't work. Check my last message. When I use "Overloads Overrides" the code will compile but is never called. I put a breakpoint on the first executable line of code in MyViewDataAccessSql.vb. It does not get called. A similiar breakpoint on the code in mmData.cs shows that it is called.

What do I have to do to execute my override of FillDataSet() instead of the one in mmData.cs?
