thanks, but it's running with outlook open and logged in so that's not a problem, it's only run from one pre setup machine.
I found a little program called clickyes which just auto clicks yes on outlook security boxes, this seems to be a pretty good solution, although it defeats the point of the security without anyone there to open incoming emails to that machine and with it virus checked and well behind firewalls I don't see that as being an issue, especially as it has run with a version of outlook without prompts and without virus for months on end.
excel is the big problem, that or the print drivers as mentioned on the other thread, I've not pointed that machine directly to the printers ip with the latest ps drivers, as I'm unsure of the network printserver driver version, I only know that going through that way it forces your machine to use them. fingers crossed then.
