What I found in InstallShield is that there are 2 kinds of Icons: Normal and Advertised. The help files say that the advertised Icon will get rebuilt by Windows if there any problems with it.

So I am using the advertised Icon and it works fine now.

Boris, I have a major problem with InstallShield because it conflicts with DBI Tools, I am starting a new topic about this. I would appreciate it if you could take a look at it.
