I hav'nt had a chance to check out your reply yet, but just as yours came in
I had decided to open a different thread as the subject matter is now relating to Grids,Reading and Writing records, as opposed to the commandbuilder topic of the original thread.

I will be having a look at it this evening ,and will let you know.
