Newton's Law is not consistent with the observable facts. On scientific grounds, how can you deny it is incorrect? I understood the whole point of this thread was to reinforce scientific principle as opposed to popular acceptance on which you have based your reply.
This just strengthens the ground for people who say "it is only a theory".
