>I created a local view that allows updates. The view is opened, with no buffering, in a grid. In this grid you can click on a button that goes to another screen that buffers one of the view's underlying tables. When this happens I'll get an update conflict when the view is closed down. Without buffering that table there is no error. So, can you buffer a table that is also used in a view?

Not very logical but you can. However before closing down the view either tableupdate or tablerevert.
