I know the theory of nTier, but implementation is always a different issue.

I want to create an app that is scalable from VFP free tables to SQL Server.

The only real requirement is that I want the data presented to the BizObj's and
UI as tables.

Could someone shed some light on the basics of this? How does the data flow from
the Data layer through the Biz layer to the GUI and back again.

A small example or code snippets would be nice.
