I've never seen the kinds of slowdowns you are seeing. Do you have at least 32 megs? How many items are in your list?

VFP5 apps will not run under Win3.

Maybe a newer version of vfp will work better, but I still want to be able to generate win16 code - dunno if vfp5 will either incr search right or let me generate code that'll run on a wfw311 system.
