It turns out that your advice was fine afterall. I have 2 applications installed with InstallShield. I only reinstalled one of them. When I reinstalled the second one, the problem disappeared.

So thank you for helping.

I have fed back your solution to both DBI and InstallShield. Neither Support Group had heard about this before and were glad to hear of a solution.
